fronds - slate
There are many visuals that I appreciate, whether walking around town or through the woods. One is to look straight up into a massive tree and take in the foliage (I like to call it 'leaf therapy'). The other is to scan the ground for little fern fronds about to unfurl. Perhaps part of the appeal is that they look so animated... almost like little octopus tentacles: art imitates nature imitating nature? Something like that.
The fabric is a soft soy & organic cotton french terry.
